Joyetech eVic Primo box mod kit

This week I am taking a look at the Joyetech eVic Primo box mod kit, a kit that includes the Joyetech eVic Primo box mod and the UniMax 25mm atomiser.

The Joyetech eVic Primo comes in a standard white cardboard box, with the product clearly shown on the cover.

And you also get a complete UniMax 25mm atomiser, with spare glass tank and spare o-rings and 2 (1 installed) coil heads in this kit.
I already looked at the UniMax 25mm atomiser in more detail in the UniMax 25 tube kit review, you will find more detailed photos etc of the atomiser there.

Joyetech were kind enough to send me two Joyetech eVic Primo kits for review.
One is in the full stainless steel with the black vinyl, the other is in the stainless and black body with black vinyl.
They also have version like the stainless/black version but with grey instead of stainless or red instead of stainless, and a rose bronze coloured one.
All the standard kits come with the black vinyl, and a spare (usually brown).

The 510 is stainless steel threaded and has a self adjusting brass positive pin.
There were initial issues with the 510, but Joyetech were fast to resolve this and the current ones have no problems that I could see.

The body is slightly tapered from the wide display end to the thinner back.
The is simple, with just an eVic Primo engraving and the vinyl ‘grip’ being the main feature.

The base features a ‘press and slide’ to open battery cover.
Once opened the battery bays are clearly marked to show which way around batteries go in.

The front features the display along with the usual USB socket and our menu and fire buttons.

Operation and features of the Joyetech eVic Primo are much the smae as all the VT series of devices.

An interesting feature is the screw in optional item for the box mod as a powerbank to charge things like your phone.
As Joyetech has yet to supply one of these accessories to me, it has not been tested here at TimboZero Vaping.

So opinions…

Since my encounter with the UniMax25 tube kit, I have now become rather fond of the atomiser when married to this box mod.

It gives off a far larger and more flavoursome cloud, which I like but might be too much for some.
That said, the power could of course be turned down and the air flow reduced for those that like less cloud.

The Joyetech eVic Primo box mod itself brings very little that is new to the table.

It uses the existing and proven VT technology that many like a lot, same menus and abilities.

What it does add is a new aesthetic that I rather like. That metal and vinyl look really does look good to me.

In short, if you like any of the Joyetech VT range and like the look of the photos above then you are sure to not be disappointed with the Joyetech eVic Primo.
I wasn’t.

All in all a great device, and I am seeing them online at under $50 so it is a bargain as well.

As always , more information can be found at the Joyetech site here Joyetech Delta atomiser
