MyVapors myJet pen vaporiser

This week I am taking a look at the MyVapors myJet pen vaporiser, a Wismec manufactured device made for MyVapors.

Regular readers will know that I am a stickler for packaging showing the device, customers need to know what they are buying before they break the cellophane wrapper.
The MyVapors myJet has excellent packaging, clear branding is a must for the vendor, neat picture of the device and clear details of the basic functions.

Breaking the cellophane and lifting up the magnetic flap we find our device inside, this is just the battery unit and the box for the custom USB cable.

Below, in this Deluxe kit, we also have a selection of 4 e-liquid pods. These are the pre-filled ‘atomisers’ that you will insert into the battery unit.
You can also get un-filled pods that you can fill with your own liquid, but these are not included in this deluxe kit.

Inside the USb cable box is the custom USB lead that charges the battery unit. This is a simple to use magnetic socket, that the battery simply slides into and locks in place magnetically.

The MyVapors myJet pen vaporiser consists of 2 main parts, the battery unit and the atomiser ‘pod’.

The battery unit has a small led near the logo that will light up when vaping, it will begin to flash when vaping if the battery level gets low.
There are also two metal contacts that allow the device to charge when in the battery is slotted into the USB lead socket.

Inside the other end of the battery unit you will also find two contacts, these are the ones that provide power to the atomiser pod.
You simply slot a pod into this end and the devie is ready to use.
You might notice a little moisture here, which can easily be dried out with a paper towel. The photo shows the moisture after a couple of full pods being vaped.

This is the MyVapors myJet atomiser pod. The ones in this kit are pre-filled and come with rubber grommets in each end (that should be removed before use).

The bottom end has a small air hole in it, through this you can just make out the coil and wick.
There are the two contacts that complete the coil ciruit to the battery unit.

In the top we have a small vapor hole, sucking on this when installed causes the battery unit to activate and vapor to be produced.

The pod has a sloped profile to it and that corresponds to the battery unit for installation. Just push one into place and you are ready to go.

Here we have the ready to vape device, this thing is tiny at just 15 by 7 mm and just 115mm long.

Here it is next to a pen from comparison.

As I said, you have a few pre-filled pods in this kit. There is quite a list of these available from MyVapors, made by several well known juice makers including Cuttwood, Fresh, CRFT, Mango Me, ANML, Drip Club, Mad Hatter, One Hit Wonder, Peel, Beyond Vape and NKTR. Each holds about 1.2ml of liquid.
These pre-filled pods cost around $4 or you can get the refillable ones for about £3.

There are currently 2 kits available, the Express kit for around $30 which has the device, lead and two refillable pods.. or the Deluxe kit (reviewed) for around $43.

There is also a PCC (Personal Charging Case) for the MyVapors myJet, which comes in a kit with the Express kit items for around $43. The PCC uses a single 18650 and recharges the MyVapors myJet without the USB lead.

So, opinions ….

As a vaper of much larger devices I was convinced that personally this would not be a device for me, I was going to review it for new and light use vapers.
After trying it out I was surprised to find that this thing actually puts out a lot of vapor for its size, enough for even a heavy use vaper such as myself to survive a night out with just the MyVapors myJet.

It has a 350mAh battery that I thought would last a couple of hours but it lasted me most of the day (and I vape a lot). Even the 1.2ml pod capacity lasted me a lot longer than I expected it to.
I would say that a pair of pods and a quick booster charge (not even a full charge) would get me through a full day. That is impressive in my opinion and would last most lighter use vapers a full day with ease.

The MyVapors myJet is tiny, a little bit bigger than the traditional ‘cig-a-like’ but not by a lot and certainly not going to encumber anyones pocket or bag.

I felt when I was asked to review this device that the readers would like it but personally I would not. I was wrong, this is a great device that I would use (although I wish I had received the kit with a few refillable pods and the PCC) for those nights out with friends.

Well done Wismec and MyVapors.
